Weaving for Kids
Children, ages 9 and older (fourth grade), may take weaving lessons anytime during open studio hours or on
another mutually agreed day and time.
No previous weaving experience is necessary.
The students will wind a warp, thread a four-harness table loom,
and weave a project of their choice.
Possible projects are a scarf, pillow, placemats, felted bags.
Looms will be provided.
The cost is $20.00 per class (2 hour class) plus materials
(the cost of materials will depend on the project design;
an average cotton scarf is $15.00).
A minimum of 16 hours is needed to complete a scarf.
