Join Beth in a class which will expand the way you use your rigid heddle loom. In this class, you will learn how to use a pick-up stick to weave lace and surface textures. There are so many possibilities — finger manipulated weaves like Brooks Bouquet, Leno, Spanish lace, and Danish medallion; also warp floats, weft floats, and warp and weft floats in combination. By the end of the workshop, you will have learned how to design lace and how to plan a project using these textures.

Individual Schedule: Plan your workshop to fit your schedule—$140.00 plus materials

You choose the day and time when you come, as long as the studio is open. You must pay for the 9 hours of instruction (3 3-hour lessons) in advance and schedule your lessons within 5 consecutive weeks; if you don’t finish the lessons in the allotted time, you forfeit your payment.

Once you have signed up, you can either warp your loom following instructions which will be sent to you or you may pay extra for an additional class and warp your loom in the studio.

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills — you will be able to exploit the possibilities of your rigid heddle loom with lace weaves and surface textures. This workshop is also designed to match your schedule and your learning style. Come learn with Beth.
