Immerse yourself into the magical world of Natural Dyeing and the ancient practices of creating color with nature on natural fibers. We will explore the multitude of color opportunities in our kitchens, gardens, and the many colors that can be harvested from items growing in the wild plus an indigo bath. We will discuss various methods of natural dyeing and allow our creative minds to explore the options mother nature provides. Then we will dip our hands in and begin creating beautiful works of art to take home and cherish. Each attendee will leave with 2 finished pieces. No experience is necessary.
 
Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing, and plan to bring a plastic bag or other container to bring your items home in.
 
Workshop includes: 
3 hours of guided instruction 
Multiple pre-prepped natural dye and indigo vats 
All materials needed 
Your own handcrafted item to take home
