Try Your Hand at Weaving

For Scouts, School Groups, or Birthday Parties!

In this fun 2-to-3-hour session, youth are introduced to the fundamentals of weaving.  Beth can tailor the session to the group’s needs.

The session will begin with a brief talk about weaving.  The group can then spend full time weaving and exploring how looms work or split the time between weaving and one of the projects shown below – your choice.

Minimum workshop size: 4; Maximum workshop size: 12

Minimum grade level: 3rd grade

​

Cost: $10 per person if only weaving on loom.  $15 per person if additional project included.  Your choice of 1 project for the group. Includes materials.  Each youth gets to keep their project.
